(Facebook pic)PETALING JAYA: The Registrar of Societies (RoS) has deregistered Perikatan Nasional (PN), saying the coalition’s response to a show-cause notice failed to justify retaining its registration.
In a statement today, the RoS said PN was issued a show-cause notice dated Sept 22 to submit an explanation and representations on the matters raised. The registrar received PN’s reply on Oct 12.
"After studying all the documents and explanations submitted, the RoS found that the reasons given could not rebut the grounds for cancellation, and did not provide strong justification for maintaining the society’s registration," it said.
