Hang Tuah Jaya Bersatu deputy chief Norhizam Hassan Baktee said he understood that his name had been included in the list of potential candidates for the Melaka election.

PETALING JAYA: Former Pengkalan Batu assemblyman Norhizam Hassan Baktee, popularly known as “YB Hulk”, says he is ready to contest in the upcoming Melaka election.

Norhizam, who is now Hang Tuah Jaya Bersatu deputy chief, said he understood that his name had been included in the list of potential candidates for the Melaka polls, although the seat he would contest had yet to be determined.

“Yes, I want to contest, but I don’t know which seat I will be fielded in yet. Other parties have also approached me, but nothing has been confirmed.
