Form 6 students to receive RM2,500 in living allowances in stages from first semester in 2027

NIBONG TEBAL, Oct 25: Form Six students will receive RM2,500 in living allowances starting from the first semester next year, said Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek.

She said the allowances, announced under Budget 2027, would be disbursed after all Form Six students completed registration.

“Once the registration process for all Form Six students is completed, we will disburse the assistance in their first semester,” she told reporters after officiating at the Nibong Tebal parliamentary constituency-level ‘Jelajah Negaraku: Aku Kasih Malaysia’ programme here today.

She said the allowance would be distributed in stages over the three semesters of study, with approximately RM800 allocated for each semester.
