Wawasan secretary-general Saifuddin Abdullah said while PN and BN have generally agreed that incumbents will defend their seats, they can exchange seat allocations for certain reasons.PETALING JAYA: Wawasan secretary-general Saifuddin Abdullah says the party’s seat negotiations for the Nov 14 Melaka state election are being handled by the Perikatan Nasional leadership, which can exchange allocations for incumbent seats with Barisan Nasional if needed.
Saifuddin said PN leaders discussed seat allocations at the coalition's supreme council meeting last night.
He said PN and BN had agreed in principle that the incumbents would defend their seats. However, they could exchange incumbent seat allocations for certain reasons.
