PUTRAJAYA: Two corporate figures, who are siblings and hold “Datuk Seri” and “Datuk Wira” titles, have been remanded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for having allegedly colluded to misappropriate funds and abuse their power in an investment deal worth about RM10 million.
Magistrate Ezrene Zakariah issued a five-day remand order against both suspects following an application by MACC at the Putrajaya magistrates' court this morning, Utusan Malaysia reported.
The suspects, who are in their 40s and 50s, were arrested at about 9pm yesterday when they arrived at the MACC headquarters to give their statements.
