SUNGAI PETANI: A man who fell into a river in Kampung Padang Sekawan, Bukit Selambau, on Sunday has been found dead.
Mohamad Solihim Mohd Noor, 38, was found at 8.49am after members of the public reported the discovery, the Kedah Fire and Rescue Department's Operations Centre said.
His body was found floating near Kampung Belida Health Clinic, about 6km from the Lesung Fire and Rescue Control Post.
Six members of the Sungai Petani Fire and Rescue Station's Water Rescue Team were dispatched to the location.
