KUALA LUMPUR: Juggling American college commitments and winning professional titles as teenagers, four Thai qualifiers arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club with different paths but one dream — playing alongside their idols.

Pimnipa Panthong, Sarisa Pojanalai, Achiraya Sriwong, and Marisa Tojai earned their places through the Asean Qualifier and will make their LPGA debuts on the West Course this week.

Amateur Sarisa, a sophomore at Michigan State University, flew to Malaysia after the US collegiate fall season.

She said balancing academics, training, and competition had prepared her for the demands of elite golf.
