(EPA Images pic)PETALING JAYA: Acclaimed British-American sitarist Anoushka Shankar has lashed out at event promoter Shiraz Projects over its handling of her cancelled Kuala Lumpur show, saying she and her team have been left in the dark.
Anoushka was scheduled to perform at the Plenary Hall on Oct 4, her first show here in over a decade, before it was abruptly called off due to what the promoter cited as “circumstances beyond our control”.
In an Instagram post today, Anoushka claimed that she and her team had repeatedly tried to get answers from Shiraz Projects since the cancellation but to no avail.
