(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA: The proposal to keep Petronas as MotoGP’s main sponsor in the coming years will be discussed with the national oil company’s group CEO, Tengku Muhammad Taufik Aziz, says deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He said MotoGP executive director Carmelo Ezpeleta had expressed hope, during a meeting, that Petronas would continue its involvement in the international motorcycle racing championship.
"Carmelo offered Petronas the opportunity to continue as a sponsor of MotoGP. He told me this is Petronas’s final year as an organiser.
