KUALA LUMPUR: Go Pei Kee, who made the shock decision to quit the national women's doubles squad in February, is back in the BA Malaysia (BAM) fold.

A more mature and relaxed Pei Kee 24, has been granted permission by BAM to officially start on Nov 1, but the Johor-born shuttler has already begun training as a mixed doubles player on Wednesday.

Pei Kee sought to split with her partner Teoh Mei Xing in January before leaving the national team a month later.

BAM performance committee chairman Datuk Seri Lee Chong Wei was unable to convince Pei Kee to stay.
