KUALA LUMPUR: More than 11,000 fans braved a downpour and poor air quality tonight as American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz performed a non-stop, three-hour set at Bukit Jalil Hockey Stadium.

Marking his first return to Malaysia since 2019, Mraz took the stage at 8.30pm, immediately lifting spirits at the open-air venue.

"It's so good to be back in KL. I miss you guys and girls," he said to roaring applause.

"And I promise I'll be back as often as I can. Malaysians are some of my biggest and most sporting fans."
