KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), through its subsidiary Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, has signed farm-out agreements to jointly develop two gas fields offshore Sarawak.

In a statement, Petronas said the agreements were signed with three international oil and gas companies — TotalEnergies, Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co (KUFPEC) and PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) — covering the SK410B Lang Lebah and B14 fields.

The agreements aim to integrate the development of gas resources across both fields under their respective production sharing contracts (PSCs), allowing the partners to better coordinate infrastructure planning, facilities development and resource monetisation.
