KUCHING (Nov 2): Dato Wee Hong Seng has said he is pleased to accept Pending incumbent Violet Yong’s recent complimentary remark of him being “a great mayor”.
The Kuching South mayor said Yong’s positive comment represented an acknowledgement of his commitment and hard work all along despite her frequent criticism of him.
Wee said this in a recent Sin Chew Daily report following speculation he might contest in the Pending constituency for Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) during the upcoming polls.
