SIBU (Nov 2): The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) has stepped up its preparations ahead of the 13th state election, aiming to secure three state seats here by defending Pelawan and Bukit Assek, while seeking to recapture Bawang Assan.
During the SUPP Nangka branch’s 12th anniversary dinner here on Sunday, event organising chairman SUPP Nangka secretary Kapitan Siao Sing Tiong noted the party’s anthem had stirred a strong sense of enthusiasm among those present, likening it to the beating of war drums signalling the party’s preparations for the coming election.
