KUALA LUMPUR: Signature Alliance Group Bhd (SAG) has secured a RM51.56 million contract to redevelop and refurbish Underwater World Langkawi, one of the island’s longest-running tourism attractions.
The contract was awarded to SAG’s wholly owned subsidiary, Zig Zag Builders, through a construction works agreement with Underwater World Langkawi Sdn Bhd, the attraction’s owner and operator.
SAG executive director and group CEO Datuk Chang Chung Fei said the approximately RM52 million contract is an important addition to the group’s project portfolio and reflects the direction SAG has set: to secure larger-value projects while remaining disciplined on execution and margins.
“Underwater World Langkawi is a well-known attraction, and we are pleased to be entrusted with its redevelopment and refurbishment.
