Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi states Iran’s conditions to reopen the Strait of Hormuz are achievable if the United States acts in good faith under a revised two-day proposal.
TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran’s conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz are all feasible if the United States demonstrates goodwill, has a genuine willingness to reach an agreement, and truly seeks a peaceful solution, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported, citing Al Jazeera.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, the full transcript of which was published on his official Telegram channel on Sunday night, Araghchi said a proposal currently under discussion through Qatari and Pakistani mediation was based on Iran’s original seven-day plan, which Tehran presented during the UN General Assembly in New York in September.
