Democrat Nathan Johnson, who composed music for 67 episodes of “Dragon Ball Z,” is elected Texas attorney general, beating Republican Mayes Middleton.

WASHINGTON: Long before Texas Democrat Nathan Johnson was elected Tuesday to be the state’s attorney general, he was a composer for the music on acclaimed anime series “Dragon Ball Z.”

Johnson won the majority of votes in nearly all of the southern state’s border districts and major cities in his race against Republican Mayes Middleton to become the Lone Star State’s top prosecutor.

“If you grew up watching ‘Dragon Ball Z,’ you might know me better than you think: I composed the musical scores for 67 episodes and five movies and had a great time doing it,” the 58-year-old posted to Facebook.
