KUALA LUMPUR: Tanco Holdings Bhd, through a consortium comprising its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Tanco Builders Sdn Bhd, and CNECC Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, secured a RM700 million contract from Jaroses Partners Sdn Bhd to construct a logistics warehouse complex with cold-storage facilities in Pulau Indah, Selangor.

Tanco group managing director Dato’ Sri Andrew Tan Jun Suan said that when the group established the collaboration with CNECC Malaysia last year, the objective was to pursue larger logistics warehouse projects by combining respective strengths.

“Securing this RM700 million contract is an encouraging result, and it gives Tanco an opportunity to participate in a more specialised segment of construction.
