A Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court sentenced a 52-year-old father to 12 years’ jail and five strokes of the cane after he pleaded guilty to incest with his daughter.
KUALA LUMPUR: A 52-year-old father was sentenced to 12 years in prison and five strokes of the cane by the Sessions Court here today after pleading guilty to committing incest with his biological daughter, who was 13 at the time, resulting in her giving birth to a child.
Judge Mohd Kafli Che Ali ordered the man to begin serving his prison sentence today, undergo counselling and be placed under police supervision for two years.
The incident took place at a house in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras, at 12.30 am in November 2020, when the victim was 13 years and 10 months old.
