Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr met with Moro Islamic Liberation Front leaders at Malacanan Palace to discuss steps toward achieving lasting peace, stability, and economic development in the Bangsamoro region.

MANILA: President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr on Friday met with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) leaders at Malacanan Palace in Manila to discuss steps to achieve lasting peace in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), the Philippine News Agency (PNA) reported.

Marcos met with MILF chairperson Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim to sustain the peace efforts and advance the implementation of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a press briefing.
