(Bernama pic)SEREMBAN: The Negeri Sembilan Umno liaison committee meeting today did not discuss a no-confidence motion against menteri besar Ismail Lasim, says the committee's chairman, Jalaluddin Alias.
Jalaluddin said the meeting, attended by 25 Barisan Nasional assemblymen, state Umno committee members and division chiefs, focussed on party matters and political developments in the state.
“Until this morning, there were still claims that we would decide today on a no-confidence motion against the menteri besar, but that is simply not true,” he told reporters after the meeting, which was also attended by Ismail.
