PKR Youth chief Kamil Munim said greater efforts would be made to reach out to voters in the second week of campaigning.PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan is stepping up efforts in the run-up to the Nov 14 Melaka election to win over young voters, particularly first-time voters, through more targeted campaigning methods, says PKR Youth chief Kamil Munim.
He said while campaign strategies must adapt to changing communication trends, especially as young people are more active on social media, traditional face-to-face methods must not be overlooked.
“We are dealing with people who need the personal touch. Every candidate must make every effort to meet voters in their respective constituencies,” he said at PH’s Machap Jaya operations centre in Batu Lesung today, Bernama reported.
