PETALING JAYA: PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari and PKR Youth deputy chief Nabil Halimi have reached an amicable settlement over a defamation suit stemming from a controversial caricature that went viral last year.
In a joint statement, Fadhli and Nabil said they reached the agreement at the Shah Alam High Court today to end the dispute and focus on more important matters, particularly those concerning the interests of the people and the country.
According to the statement, the settlement was reached without any admission of liability, with Nabil apologising to Fadhli over the remarks that sparked the dispute between them.
