KOTA BARU: A man was killed when the four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle he was driving skidded before plunging into a ravine about 100m deep at Jalan Ladang Pos Pulat in Gua Musang.

The vehicle and victim were found two days after the incident.

Gua Musang police chief superintendent Sik Choon Foo said police received a report from the public at 4.30pm yesterday about the discovery of the Toyota Hilux at the bottom of the ravine, with the victim found unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene.

He said preliminary investigations found that the accident was believed to have occurred on Sunday.

"Based on information from the victim's wife, the victim's last live location was detected on Sunday afternoon in the vicinity of the incident.
