KUALA LUMPUR: An MP has asked why only seven land valuation officers were initially assigned to survey the 706km corridor for the Pan Borneo Highway project in Sabah.
Debating the 2026 Auditor-General’s Report in the Dewan Rakyat today, Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis (Warisan-Kota Belud) also pointed out that 12 private valuation firms were only appointed in December last year, although the project began in 2015.
“What disturbed me most when I read page 20 of the A-G’s report was that there were only seven valuation officers from the land and survey department to manage a 706km corridor. Does that mean one officer had to survey 100km?
