KUALA LUMPUR: Sepang Umno chief Noorazli Said claimed trial in the magistrates’ court here today to a charge of deliberately wounding the religious feelings of Christians in a speech last month.

Noorazli, 48, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read before magistrate Nurul Izzah Hasan Basri.

He is charged with deliberately wounding the religious feelings of one Xenia Lok in a speech he delivered at the 2026 Umno general assembly.

The offence allegedly took place at 11.20am on Sept 12 at Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Centre, Jalan Tun Ismail here.
