KUALA LUMPUR: Former Yayasan Bank Rakyat (YBR) chairman Nazir Hussin Akhtar Hussin has accused the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) of abusing its powers in a probe into the alleged misappropriation of RM10 million invested by the foundation.

He said MACC's raids on his residence and that of his brother, Mubarak Hussin, were conducted unprofessionally.

Nazir also said that during the seven days he was remanded by MACC, he was only questioned for a day regarding the RM10 million belonging to YBR, and that he was questioned about unrelated political matters on the other days.
