KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah's (GRS) target of contesting more than 15 parliamentary seats in the state could serve as a basis for negotiations, said Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH) chief Datuk Mustapha Sakmud.
The Sepanggar member of parliament said Sabah had 25 parliamentary seats, leaving 10 seats for further discussion.
"What is important is that we want to continue the government's efforts and existing development work. That is what matters," he said.
Mustapha said PH appreciated its cooperation with GRS and that the matter could be discussed further.
At the federal level, GRS is part of the unity government.
