KOTA KINABALU: Zara Qairina Mahathir's mother told the Coroner's Court that she did not agree with the police classifying her daughter's death as a Sudden Death Report.

Noraidah Lamat was questioned by lawyer Datuk Ram Singh before Coroner Amir Shah Amir Hassan.

Ram: Would you agree that, after the investigation, the police classified this case as a Sudden Death Report?

Noraidah: I do not agree. That is why I brought this case to court.

"Earlier, when asked whether she agreed that Zara's death was not a case of murder, Noraidah said: 'I am convinced that Zara would not have done such a thing. I hope justice will be served for Zara.'"
