KUALA LUMPUR: The deaths of two students in separate incidents in Johor and Pahang were among the major crime cases reported by the New Straits Times this week.
In Yong Peng, 16-year-old student Irene Sofiya Mohd Khairool Faisal was found dead at her school on Oct 3, while in Kuantan, a 19-year-old student, Elisa Jonova Masilamani, was found dead at a house on Oct 6 following an alleged argument with her boyfriend.

Her grandmother found her covered in blood at the school's hall after realising that she had not returned home by about 5.30pm.
