RAUB: Two Myanmar nationals were brought before the sessions court here today to face a joint charge of causing injury to a policeman last month.
However, the charge against the men, aged 26 and 30, was not read out as they did not understand Malay.
The prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutors Wong Zhi Qian and Hardave Singh Baldeb Sing, who proposed that no bail be offered as the two foreigners do not have valid documents to remain in Malaysia.
Judge Siti Hajar Mustaffa set Oct 14 for case mention to allow a Myanmar interpreter to be present in court.
