Imagine opening your banking app and discovering that you have over RM1 billion in your account. That’s what an Aeon Bank customer in Malaysia claims to have experienced after an unusually large amount was credited to his account.
The incident was shared by Threads user @wmfwza on 14th October, after he saw a whopping RM1,000,315,879 transferred to his digital bank account.
From the looks of it, it looks like an error related to one of Aeon Bank’s Merdeka / Malaysia Day campaign.
