The Tesla Outlet Adapter has been listed on Tesla Shop Malaysia for RM350. This accessory is required for owners who want to utilise the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature on their Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and Model Y L.
V2L allows users to draw power directly from their Tesla’s main battery to run external appliances. In short, it turns your Tesla into a giant rolling power bank.
The listing on Tesla Store Malaysia, as captured at 4:30 AM today. In Malaysia, native V2L support was previously limited to the Model Y L, which launched here back in April. Moving forward, V2L is also supported on all Model 3 and Model Y units manufactured from this month onward. Older units unfortunately cannot be retrofitted to support the feature.
