PETALING JAYA: Three former MPs who left PKR – Edmund Santhara Kumar (Segamat), Kamarudin Jaffar (Bandar Tun Razak) and Steven Choong (Tebrau) - have reportedly been readmitted to the party following an appeal.

The central leadership council approved the appeals from Santhara, Kamarudin and Choong at its Sept 27 meeting, according to Malaysiakini.

Santhara and Kamarudin were among 11 MPs who left PKR after the Sheraton Move in 2020 which caused the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan federal government and was replaced by a coalition headed by Bersatu. The pair later joined Bersatu.
