KUALA LUMPUR: The special meeting with 25 Negeri Sembilan state assemblymen last night did not discuss Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir's audience with menteri besar Ismail Lasim, says state Umno chief Jalaluddin Alias.
He said the discussion focused on efforts to ensure that elected representatives from the government bloc remain committed to carrying out their responsibilities in their constituencies, as well as strengthening the party.
He said Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi urged the assemblymen not to be affected by current developments and to continue prioritising their service to the people.
