(Monaco pic)MONACO: Lille were made to pay for Tanguy Nianzou's red card as Monaco fought back to hold them to a 1-1 draw in Ligue 1 on Sunday, opening the door for Rennes to take the summit of the table thanks to a 3-0 win over struggling Strasbourg.

With Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon's match pushed back to Monday due to protests taking place across France this weekend, a winner in the principality would have gone three points clear at the top of the table.

But Lille have to content themselves with second spot on goal difference in the standings ahead of Monaco as both sides moved to 15 points - one ahead of Lyon, reigning champions PSG and Paris FC.
