KUALA LUMPUR: Hazy conditions across the country have improved following a change in wind direction.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department said the Northeast Monsoon, which begins tomorrow, would stop transboundary haze from drifting into Malaysia.
Its director-general, Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip, said continuous northeasterly winds would keep transboundary haze away.
"The hazy weather has recovered since yesterday following a change in the direction of wind movement in our country, except in Sarawak.
