PETALING JAYA: No water was found in RON95 petrol tanks at a Batu Kawan petrol station, contrary to claims on social media, the domestic trade and cost of living ministry said.
S Jegan, the state director, said the tanks were inspected today in the presence of a representative from the petrol company and the station's owner after social media users claimed their vehicles had experienced problems after being refuelled at the station.
He said the inspection was aimed at identifying the cause of the reported problems, including checking for water or other contaminants in the tanks and fuel dispensing system.
