KUALA LUMPUR: The Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) has yet to receive any formal request on the alleged assault case involving Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain in 2015.

Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar said any request submitted would be examined in accordance with the law.

"So far, AGC has not received any formal request. However, any request from any party concerning the case will be examined in accordance with the law," he said.

Earlier, lawyers Kamal Hisham Ja'afar and Muhammad Nor Tamrin sought a review and reconsideration of the case involving a former policeman to ensure the rule of law was upheld without discrimination.
