KUALA LUMPUR: PG Doraisamy P Gopal, who was involved in an earlier attempt to overhaul Kumpulan Jetson Bhd's board of directors, has emerged as a substantial shareholder of the company with a 5.13 per cent direct stake.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Kumpulan Jetson said Doraisamy held 23.53 million shares following the acquisition of 553,700 shares through an open-market transaction on Oct 26.
The shares are registered under CGS International Nominees Malaysia (Tempatan) Sdn Bhd in a pledged securities account belonging to Doraisamy.
Doraisamy was among five shareholders who sought to remove Jetson's then-board of directors and appoint a new one in April 2025.
