Bersatu and Pakatan Harapan may form some kind of cooperation for the Melaka election but, as it stands, they may clash in four seats - Kelebang, Gadek, Pengkalan Batu and Ayer Keroh.PETALING JAYA: Bersatu is expected to contest eight of the 28 seats in the Melaka state election, including four where it will possibly face Pakatan Harapan, amid speculation of possible cooperation between the two.
A Bersatu source told FMT the eight seats are Kelebang, Lendu, Gadek, Sungai Udang, Pantai Kundor, Pengkalan Batu, Ayer Keroh and Bemban.
Melaka Bersatu chief Mohamad Ali Mohamad is expected to be fielded in Kelebang following pressure from the party grassroots, the source said.
Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin is scheduled to announce the party’s candidates tomorrow night.
