BENTONG: Police are investigating an incident in which Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA) director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain was seen berating two men in public.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said police would record statements and gather the evidence needed to complete the investigation.
"I cannot pre-empt the process, but the investigation is ongoing," he told reporters on the sidelines of a handover ceremony for the Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centre in Karak.
"Once completed, the investigation papers will be submitted to the Attorney-General's Chambers. I have no information yet on whether they have reached that stage... I have also just returned from abroad.
