The Election Commission (EC) will hold a special meeting on Nov 6 to discuss key dates for the 13th Sarawak state election.

KUCHING: DAP will contest seven seats in Kuching and Bau areas in the upcoming 13th Sarawak State Election, said its state chairman Chong Chieng Jen.

According to Chong, who chaired the party’s state committee meeting earlier today, the seven confirmed seats are Padungan, Pending, Batu Kitang, Kota Sentosa, Batu Kawah, Tasik Biru and Opar.

“We are also considering Batu Lintang as a possible eighth seat.
