Klinik Kesihatan Kuala Lumpur, a government health clinic on Jalan Temerloh in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, began operating on April 3, 2017.
The Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Federal Territory Health Department describes it as Malaysia’s largest health clinic, with capacity to accommodate up to 3,500 people a day and a broad range of primary care services.
The department also describes the facility as a clinic within a garden, set on a 4.5 hectare site with environmentally friendly features. Yet a well-presented building cannot, on its own, show how effectively the systems inside it function.
This article calls for a fair, evidence-based examination of staffing arrangements, workload distribution, training provision, role allocation, and operational oversight at Klinik Kesihatan Kuala Lumpur.
