GEORGE TOWN: Activist Arun Dorasamy has apologised in open court to Professor Dr P. Ramasamy over a defamatory Facebook post published on Jan 11, 2022, in which he accused the latter of polarising Hindus with the intention of destroying Hinduism.
Arun, whose full name is Arumugam Dorasamy, read out his apology before Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Datuk Anand Ponnudurai today.
In his statement, Arun admitted that the post, which accused Ramasamy of polarising Hindus with the intention of destroying Hinduism, was entirely untrue, unfounded and without any factual basis.
He acknowledged that the statement was made without proper information and arose from a misunderstanding of the facts.
