KLUANG: A motorcycle caught fire while being refuelled at a petrol station at the Machap southbound rest and recreation (R&R) area along the North-South Expressway.

The 11.50am incident yesterday was captured on the dashcam of a vehicle parked behind the motorcycle.

The footage, which has since gone viral, showed flames suddenly erupting from the motorcycle as the rider was refuelling. He jumped off, but his shoes caught fire

The motorcycle was soon engulfed in flames, prompting station staff to help put out the fire.
