SEREMBAN: The remand for a second suspect detained over the death of a Form Two student in Kuala Pilah on Sept 25 has been extended by six days until Oct 9.
Kuala Pilah district police chief Superintendent Mustafah Hussin said the 16-year-old male suspect is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, while the first suspect, also aged 16, remains remanded until Thursday.
"Investigations are ongoing; there are no new developments, and we are still awaiting laboratory test results," he said.
Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad was recently reported as saying that 69 statements have been recorded so far, with five students coming forward claiming to have been bullied by one of the detained suspects.
