TAIPING: The bodies of the four people killed in a three-vehicle crash on the East-West Highway in Gerik yesterday were released to their families today after post-mortem examinations at Taiping Hospital.
The first body, that of Al Zubair Deraman, 31, was taken out of the hospital's forensic unit at 9.55am.
It was followed by the body of Mohamad Hafiz Daniel Nik Hairey, 19, at 12.30pm.
The bodies of Tuan Shazrin Tuan Mud, 40, and her 3-year-old daughter were taken out of the mortuary at 1.32pm.
The victims' relatives were understood to have arrived from Kelantan as early as 8am.
