(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA: Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Ismail Lasim has declined to comment on whether the state assembly sitting and the tabling of the 2027 state budget will proceed as scheduled on Nov 26 and 27.
He said both events would take place “if God permits it”. “Insya-Allah,” he was quoted as saying briefly in Seremban by Sinar Harian.
When asked whether there would be any complication if Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir did not consent to the dates, Ismail again declined to comment.
This comes amid tensions between the state ruler and the menteri besar after Tuanku Muhriz publicly rebuked Ismail following Friday prayers at a mosque in Kuala Pilah earlier this month.
