PETALING JAYA: The second suspect arrested over the murder of a Form 2 student at a sports school in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, has been remanded for six more days.

Kuala Pilah police chief Mustafah Hussin said the 16-year-old's first remand period had expired on Oct 3, while a second remand application was made on Saturday.

The Seremban magistrates' court then allowed the police to remand the Form 4 student further until Oct 9, Berita Harian reported.

Mustafah added that the investigation paper was nearly complete and would be referred to prosecutors tomorrow evening.
